I'm Rina Plata, a software engineer and Wayuu indigenous woman from Colombia. I work as a software developer and usegy as a tool to generate real impact in tech communities. I'm the founder of Guardianes Ancestrales, an initiative that brings indigenous children closer to the digital world, and I'm part of communities like Women Techmakers, TechCommunity, and Pioneras Dev. I've spoken at events in Colombia such as CaribeConf, BoyacáConf, PioneraConf, and International Women's Day, and have also volunteered and spoken at spaces like Monkefest and DevOpsDays Medellín. I love combining technology with social impact, especially through accessibility. I aim to show how development can open opportunities and create impact for women and indigenous communities from my own experience.
