Want to attend JSConf MX 2026 but facing difficulties affording it? We want to help.
Applications are open until August 5, 2026 (11:59 PM, Mexico City time).
Thanks to the support of Google, this year we are able to offer scholarships so more people can attend JSConf MX on October 29th and 30th in Guadalajara, Jalisco.
JSConf MX is a non-profit event, and we work hard every year to secure these funds. Resources are limited, so we kindly ask you to apply for support only if you truly need it. If you can afford your entrance, buying a ticket is the best way to support the community.
What do we offer?
Ticket Scholarship Your full admission to both days of JSConf MX 2026.
Ticket Scholarship + Travel Support Your full admission, plus financial support for travel, accommodation, and food expenses during the event days. The amount depends on where you are traveling from:
From less than 200 km from Guadalajara (rest of Jalisco, Colima, parts of Michoacán…): up to $2,000 MXN
You will receive an email with the exact amount of your support and a link to confirm. You will have 72 hours to do so; if we do not receive your response, the scholarship will be reassigned to someone else on the waitlist.
No. The support is provided after the event, once your attendance is confirmed.
No. The support is granted as a fixed amount. We will not ask for tickets, invoices, or boarding passes.
Travel, accommodation, and food expenses during the event days. How you choose to distribute it is entirely up to you.
Between November 3rd and 6th, after verifying your attendance on both days of the event (October 29th and 30th). If you live in Mexico, it will be sent via SPEI transfer (we will ask for your CLABE number). If you live outside of Mexico, it will be sent via international transfer in US Dollars (USD), calculated using the exchange rate of October 30, 2026.
No. The scholarship is personal and cannot be transferred to anyone else.
Yes, you can apply. This year we will give priority to first-time attendees, but having received a scholarship previously does not disqualify you.
If your scholarship is approved and you need a visa, email us as soon as possible at the address provided in your acceptance letter, and we will send you an invitation letter. It is highly important to start the visa process as early as possible.
